Emilie Blauwhoff is a product and operations leader with deep experience in scaling startups. She is currently Chief Operating & Product Officer at Kwara, a Nairobi-based fintech providing core and mobile banking software to over 200 credit unions in Kenya. In her role, she works closely with the CEO to set company strategy and leads execution across product and operations, driving major initiatives from product pivots to revenue growth to financial performance.
Previously, Emilie co-founded TopUp Mama, a B2B marketplace serving restaurants and hotels across Kenya & Nigeria, where she oversaw operations, finance, and strategy. She began her career in strategy consulting and has since focused on building and scaling startups in fintech, and supply chain.
Having experienced CEO/COO partnerships of varying strengths, Emilie has seen firsthand how central this relationship is to the resilience of operations leaders. She is excited to share her journey and contribute to the broader ops community.
