Operations Consultant & Coach for startups and SMBs incl. ECA International, YLD, AKQA, Potato, and many more.

Lir alternates between two very different hats - coaching and consulting. As a consultant, she does practical advice, planning and hands-on implementation to improve ops and delivery. As a coach, she asks questions rather than giving answers - having discovered that this is even more practical at getting under the skin of what needs to change.
Her longer background started in web project management in its wild west era of the 90s. She soon became more interested in fixing the messy systems around her - which turned into a long career in operations, usually in agencies and startups which had more than enough “messy” to keep her out of mischief.
For the last decade, she has found that coaching the leaders is an even better way of fixing the messy. You can have the finest processes and tools in the world, but if the leaders are in bad place, everything else suffers. Asking them questions about where a pattern of behaviour came from, and they want to keep and to change, is a surprisingly powerful way of helping them move to a better place
Lir’s hobbies include: stamping out inefficiencies; domesticating chaos; asking strange questions - and travel, theatre, and books, ofc.
