Michelle Johnson is the founder of Ideal Intelligence, where she helps organisations adopt AI responsibly and build resilience into their operations. She brings more than 20 years of global ops leadership across payments, fintech, and enterprise transformation, with a career spanning Europe, North America, and Asia.
Michelle has held senior leadership roles at companies including Littlepay and Fexco, where she scaled operations internationally, led large digital transformation programmes, and delivered change that enabled organisations to grow at pace without losing stability. An MBA-qualified strategist and certified Project Management Professional, she combines a strong governance lens with deep operational execution.
At Ideal Intelligence, she focuses on making AI practical for founders and ops leaders. Her “Automate, Augment, Stay Human” framework provides a clear decision tool for where AI belongs in workflows, where it should support rather than replace, and where human judgment must stay at the core.
