Amy has spent her career working in and around startups in London (with stints Nice and Melbourne) and loves the dynamism of their culture, pace and people. After working for an EdTech startup for many years, she founded Start Ops to help startups get operational support, guidance and expertise in place from the beginning. With clients ranging from creative agencies and digital transformation consultancies to a toothpaste manufacturer and AI researchers, her broad experience and knowledge of back end operations ensures teams are happy, paid and thriving - allowing companies to succeed better.
After experiencing breast cancer at a young age, she has a unique insight into and passion about helping startups put team experience and culture at the heart of the company. She believes in designing a company around how you want it to feel and how you want your team to experience your company, and is an expert in getting things (can I say shit?!) done with purpose, empathy and compassion.
