Fractional COO, Head of Operations @ Bondaval. Formerly COO @ Concured, Head of Operations @ Mint & Co, Tabl.
Elani has nearly 15 years of ops leadership experience: she’s worked with a variety of organisations ranging from tech startups to charities to venture funds. 💡
She began her career in international development with the Peace Corps, working on grassroot initiatives, before transitioning into operational leadership roles in venture-capital-backed businesses. Stage and sector agnostic, she has worked in startups from Seed to Series F in industries spanning fintech, martech, (and her favourite) foodtech.
Her experience not only spans getting from “0-1” but equally managing operational efficiency at scale – and how to bring teams (and investors!) along the journey.
Elani has also held operational roles in different funds. Designing and implementing accelerator programmes as well as working with leadership teams to deploy capital into early stage businesses. She is also an active angel investor, advisor and sits on the Board of Trustees of the Intelligent Foundation.
Elani, why did you choose to speak at the cONference? 💬
I love working in Ops, there is so much variety in the role and you get a birds eye view of everything going on in the business. However, there aren’t typically many Ops hires, particularly at early stage startups. It is communities like Operations Nation and events like these that allow Operations professionals to share our collective wisdom and learn from each other.
